The classic tale of Jekyll & Hyde tells the story of Dr. Henry Jekyll and his struggle with the coexistence of good and evil within every human soul. In his search for truth and his quest to eradicate evil from the world, Jekyll tragically separates good and evil within himself. As the battle with his alter ego, the evil Edward Hyde, intensifies, it affects those dearest to him, and the world around him, with tragic results. As the story unfolds, the audience will be challenged to reflect deep within their own souls to see what lies behind their social façades. Though intense, the night is filled with hope, romance, and stunningly gorgeous songs with haunting melodies that will remain in the heart long after the evening is over.
Performances will be in the St. Michaels Middle High School Theater, 200 Seymour Ave. in St. Michaels. The opening performance is Sunday, February 14 at 3 PM, with 3 more performances following on Friday and Saturday, February 19 and 20, at 7 PM, and Sunday February 21 at 3 PM.
